Filmmaker SS Rajamouli, actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR were in Japan for the promotions of RRR which had its dual premiere on October 21 and 22 in Tokyo. This was followed by week-long promotions, interviews and several tourist moments for the trio.

Ram Charan took to his Twitter account to share photos with SS Rajamouli and Jr. NTR and wrote, “Missed being home for Diwali, but how could I miss a once in a lifetime chance of experiencing love for RRR from the Japanese audiences. Japan is special - The people , the culture, the love & respect they have fr everyone is unmatched. This is just the beginning… Love you soo much @ssrajamouli Garu fr this experience Spending quality time together again with brother @jrntr was soo much fun❤. Thanks to our distributor KeizoKabata. Rajamouli had also met the video game creator Hideo Kojima while in Japan. He shared a picture with Kojima and wrote, “Delighted and honoured to meet the legendary @Kojima_Hideo in Japan. Talked to him about video games, movies and much more… Will cherish these memories for long :).”
