The makers of Peddi unveiled a new look of Ram Charan on the occasion of his birthday, introducing audiences to his wrestler avatar titled ‘Peddi Pehelwan’. The latest visual offers a fresh perspective on the character, following earlier glimpses that showcased him as a village cricketer.
With this reveal, the film continues to build on its narrative arc, hinting at a transformation in the protagonist’s journey. The newly released content focuses on wrestling - a sport deeply rooted in Indian culture and presents Ram Charan in a physically demanding role. The visuals highlight his preparation for the part, including a visibly toned physique and sequences set in a traditional wrestling environment.
Earlier promotional material, including the announcement video and the first single ‘Chikiri Chikiri’, introduced audiences to the film’s rustic setting and sporting backdrop. The second track, ‘Rai Rai Raa Raa’, further expanded on the film’s tone, with both songs contributing to the growing curiosity around the project’s storytelling and music.
The film’s music is composed by A. R. Rahman, and the tracks released so far have received significant traction online, adding to the overall visibility of the project. Each content drop has gradually revealed different aspects of the film’s world, moving from cricket to wrestling as part of the character’s progression.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi features an ensemble cast that includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Backed by producer Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas, in association with Mythri Movie Makers, the film is slated for a theatrical release on April 30, 2026.
