Tamil superstar Rajinikanth celebrates his 75th birthday today, and tributes from friends, colleagues, and fans have been pouring in across social media.
Dhanush shared a warm birthday message on X, simply writing, “Happy Birthday, Thalaiva.” The actor was previously married to Rajinikanth’s daughter, Aishwaryaa, before the two announced their separation in 2022 and officially parted ways in 2023.
Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth also wished her father with a heartfelt photo and message on Instagram, writing, “My life… My father… Happy Birthday Thalaiva…”
Kamal Haasan, who shares a long-standing friendship with Rajinikanth, penned a touching note celebrating both the milestone birthday and the superstar’s career. He wrote on X, “75 years of a remarkable life. 50 years of legendary cinema. Happy birthday, my friend Rajinikanth.”
Actor SJ Suryah joined in by resharing a special birthday video created by Sun Pictures that highlighted Rajinikanth’s iconic roles from his five-decade career. He added a note saying, “Wishing our Thalaivar, the iconic SUPERSTAR Rajinikanth, a wonderful Birthday.”
Filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj also expressed his admiration. Sharing a message on Instagram, he wrote, “Happy 75 Thalaivaaa. Wishing you good health and lots and lots of happiness. Keep inspiring and entertaining us for many more years. Thanks for making our lives beautiful. Love you forever!”
Bollywood veteran Jackie Shroff extended his wishes by posting a picture with Rajinikanth on Instagram Stories, writing, “happiness always.” Actress-politician Khushbu Sundar also paid tribute on X, sharing an old and recent photo with him. She captioned it, “Happiest birthday to Padma Vibhushan, the one & only Superstar of Indian cinema, Thiru Rajinikanth. You have been an institution and inspiration of dedication, hard work, perseverance, humility, and positivity, Sir.”
On the work front, Rajinikanth was last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Coolie.
