Actor-producer Sundeep Kishan has given an exciting update about Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film, Coolie. During the promotions of his film Mazaka, Kishan revealed that he had watched 45 minutes of Coolie and is confident that it will surpass Rs 1000 crores at the box office. While speculations suggested that Kishan might be a part of the film, he clarified that he only visited the set as a guest. His statement has fuelled further anticipation for the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial.

Sundeep Kishan Dismisses Rumors of His Involvement in Coolie

Addressing the speculation about his role in the film, Sundeep Kishan confirmed that he is not a part of Coolie. Speaking about his visit to the set, he said, “I am not part of Coolie. I visited the set as Lokesh (Kanagaraj) is my friend and to witness Superstar Rajinikanth. I watched 45 minutes of the film, and it will collect Rs 1000 crores.” Despite not being involved in Coolie, he hinted at a future collaboration with director Lokesh Kanagaraj.

Possible Collaboration with Lokesh Kanagaraj

Sundeep Kishan also teased a new project with Lokesh Kanagaraj but refrained from sharing details. When asked if he was joining the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU), he responded, “I am not yet part of the LCU, but I am working on something with him. I can’t talk about it now, and I don’t know if it will come under LCU or not.”

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie is an action thriller featuring a star-studded cast. Coolie is produced by Kalanithi Maran under Sun Pictures and marks Rajinikanth’s 171st film. Rajinikanth, who travelled to Thailand in January for the shoot, previously stated that 70% of the film is complete. The next filming schedule was planned from January 13 to January 28.

The film’s ensemble cast includes Telugu star Nagarjuna, Kannada actor Upendra, Soubin Shahir, and Sathyaraj. Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is also rumored to have a cameo. Shruti Haasan, Pooja Hegde, Reba Monica John, and Junior MGR play pivotal roles in the film.
