On January 2, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ra Arjunamurthy took to social media to share pictures of him personally inviting Rajinikanth to the historic ceremony on January 22nd.

Mr. Arjunamurthy further expressed his delight in the post, calling it "the best experience of his life."
