Two days after Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa: The Rise was released at the box office and tended to become a crucial box office attraction despite mixed reviews by critics, Samantha Ruth Prabhu composed an appreciation post for the film’s lead star. Samantha Ruth also did an outstanding dance number in the film, titled ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava’ which became a viral sensation as soon as the teaser was released.

The producers of Pushpa did not release the music video of ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava’ ahead of release and the song is now receiving an amazing reaction from netizens in the theatres. Responding to fan videos from inside theatres, Samantha wrote, “Missed the mass ???????? #ooAntavaOoooAntavaa.”

Pushpa’s director Sukumar had revealed at a press meet that Samantha had initially rejected the song. She had originally told him that she might not be the right choice for it. The director later explained to her how the song would be a major hit. Further explaining, he had also mentioned that such numbers brought fame to many top female stars. Now that Pushpa is a big hit, fans are also talking about Samantha’s dance performance. Talking about her iconic number, many said, ‘There is nothing Samantha Ruth cannot do’.
