Actress Shruti Haasan is celebrating her 35th birthday today. While receiving messages from all across, it has revealed that the actress has been roped in as the leading lady of Prabhas and Prashanth Neel's magnum opus Salaar.

Earlier this month, the mahurat shot was filmed in presence of Prabhas, Prashanth, and KGF actor Yash at Ramanayudu Studios in Hyderabad. Deputy CM of Karnataka, Dr. C N Ashwath Narayan too graced the occasion.
Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and directed by ace filmmaker Prashanth Neel, the film features Prabhas in the lead. Unleashing his dark side in the highly anticipated project, the actor will be portraying a violent character.
