Prabhas-starrer Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam to be announced in a GRAND fashion around mid-May : Bollywood News

Prabhas had a disappointing start to 2023 with the release of Adipurush. But it ended on a good note for him, thanks to Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire. Directed by Prashanth Neel of KGF fame, the film was a decent success and was loved for its plot, performances and mass treatment. It ended with the promise of a sequel, titled Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam. A few days ago, it was reported that the sequel was going on floors at the end of the month. Bollywood Hungama has now learned of the exciting plans to announce the film.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam will be announced in a grand manner. The makers have kept the plans very secretive and hence, one doesn’t know if it’ll be launched through a poster or a teaser. But one thing is for sure – it’ll be something to watch out for and will become a talking point.”

The source further said that the announcement is expected around mid-May while the shooting will commence at the end of the month. It is also said that Prabhas will join the shoot only after the release of his futuristic entertainer, Kalki 2898 AD. It also features Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan and will release in cinemas on June 27.

It now remains to be seen what the producers, Hombale Films, have planned for the announcement of Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam and how they blow away the audiences – is it through the scale of the sequel or with surprise additions in the cast or a combination of both.

Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire also starred Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu and was set in the fictional city-state of Khansar. It was about the friendship between Deva (Prabhas) and Varadha (Prithviraj), the prince of Khansaar. When Varadha’s relatives and certain ministers in Khansaar plan a revolt, Varadha enlists Deva’s help. The film ends with a revelation that Deva is an exiled prince, and, in the sequel, both the characters are set to lock horns. Salaar Part 2: Shauryanga Parvam is expected to be released on Christmas 2025.
