Prabhas shares his fond memory of meeting Kamal Haasan and Amitabh Bachchan on the sets of Kalki 2898 AD : Bollywood News

Being one of the most-awaited films with an ensemble cast, Prabhas has now added to the anticipation by unveiling his look as ‘Bhairava’ in the upcoming magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD. Sharing the screen space for the first time with megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan, Prabhas couldn’t be more excited to share screen space with such stalwarts. Recalling his first day on set with the two legendary actors, Prabhas recently shared his experience of what it was like to meet the megastars of Tamil and Hindi Cinema.

Sharing the fond memory, Prabhas said, “I went to Kamal Haasan Sir’s shoot on the first day and it was really nice. I went to him and told him, ‘I just want to say hi to you sir’ and paid my respects. That same day, I met Amitabh Sir and touched his feet and he sweetly said, ‘Don’t do that.’ Since then, whenever I meet him, we shake hands instead. (Smiles).” Being a man of few words, Prabhas went on to share his fond memories of the two stars and also showcased how much he respects them.

Coming to Kalki 2898 AD, along with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, the film also features Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in key roles. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the movie is a multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in the future, with Prabhas playing an intriguing avatar of Bhairava, a glimpse of which will be seen in his upcoming prelude ‘B&B’ series for the film on Amazon Prime Video. After being launched at the Comic Con in the US, the sci-fi post apocalyptic drama will be hitting the screens on June 27, 2024.
