The makers of the upcoming sci-fi epic Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the film's fifth and final hero, Bujji, in a grand launch event held in Hyderabad on May 22nd, 2024. Bujji is not just a vehicle; it's Prabhas' character Bhairava's best friend in the film.

Addressing the massive crowd, Prabhas expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to work with a stellar cast that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. Fans erupted when he referred to Deepika Padukone as a superstar. “I am very, very lucky to work with the greatest legends like Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan,” Prabhas said. “Thanks to the whole team. And Deepika, the most gorgeous and beautiful superstar. We are lucky to have you in the film. Thank you so much,” he added.

The event was attended by nearly 20,000 audience members and media representatives alongside the film's makers, including director Nag Ashwin, producers C. Aswani Dutt, Swapna Dutt Chalasani, Priyanka Dutt Chalasani, and Prabhas himself.

Kalki 2898 AD boasts an impressive cast featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani. Directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the film is a multilingual, mythology-inspired sci-fi spectacle set in a future world. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on June 27, 2024.
