In a recent interview, Hegde acknowledged the strong screen chemistry she shares with Allu Arjun, adding that she is open to reuniting with him if the right project comes along. “If there's a good story, good characters, and if it fits right, then we'll do it,” the actress said, keeping the door open for future collaborations.

Pooja Hegde and Allu Arjun's pairing has often been a draw for audiences, with their past films delivering not only box office success but also memorable music and choreography. Songs like ‘Butta Bomma’ and ‘Ramuloo Ramulaa’ became cultural staples, celebrated for their catchy tunes and signature dance moves.

While speculation around a new project continues, both actors are currently busy with their individual commitments. Allu Arjun was last seen in Pushpa 2: The Rule, the sequel to his 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. On the other hand, Pooja Hegde will soon be seen in Retro, a Tamil-language romantic action film where she stars opposite actor Suriya. Directed by Karthik Subbaraj, the film is scheduled to hit theatres on May 1. This marks Hegde’s return to Tamil cinema after a brief hiatus.

In addition to Retro, Pooja also has a Bollywood project lined up. She will appear alongside Varun Dhawan in Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a romantic comedy directed by David Dhawan. The film is expected to lean into the director’s trademark blend of humor and romance and is slated for release later this year.
