Actor Vijay Sethupathi who is currently shooting for the Tamil film Master has signed his next project. The actor has been signed to play the antagonist in Allu Arjun’s next yet-to-titled Telugu film with director Sukumar.
In a media interaction ahead of the release of the film, Allu Arjun revealed that Vijay Sethupathi plays the antagonist in his next. Vijay Sethupathi who is one of the most versatile actors in India started playing the role of an antagonist with the Rajinikanth starrer Petta. Currently, he is shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s film Master in which he is pitted against Thalapathy Vijay.
Meanwhile, director Sukumar and Allu Arjun will be collaborating for the third time after Arya and Arya 2. The makers have tentatively titled the film as AA 20 and will be produced by Mythri Movie Makers. The film is expected to go on the floors in a few weeks. Reportedly, Rashmika Mandanna has also been signed as the leading lady.
Allu Arjun also has a project titled Icon in the kitty apart from a pan-India project with AR Murugadoss. If everything goes as planned, Murugadoss’s film might mark Arjun’s Bollywood debut.
Meanwhile, Allu’s next film Ala Vaikunthapurramloo directed by Trivikram is all set to release on January 12. The film also features Tabu, Pooja Hegde and Nivetha Pethuraj in pivotal roles. SS Thaman has composed the music while PS Vinod has cranked the camera.
