Nikhil Siddhartha and Samyuktha Menon commence the shoot of their next titled Swayambhu : Bollywood News

Nikhil Siddhartha, who gained nationwide fame with Karthikeya 2, will be joining forces with director Bharat Krishnamachari for his 20th movie. Titled Swayambhu, Bhuvan and Sreekar will produce the movie under the banner Pixel Studios with Tagore Madhu presenting it and Samyuktha Menon has been roped in as the female lead. While the title Swayambhu alone has generated curiosity, the makers also unveiled a title poster which has added to the anticipation.

The recently released title poster features the sacred Sengol as it presents Nikhil as a ferocious warrior, who is seen aiming an arrow at a dragon while riding the horse. A source close to the film confirmed the details adding that the makers decided to make this announcement on the auspicious occasion of Shravana Shukravaram and even held a grand launching ceremony. The source added, “The grand launch was organized in a majestic manner in the presence of the film’s entire team and special guests. As for the character thay Nikhil will be playing it is something that his fans haven’t seen before. From his get-up to his costumes, it all belongs to a different era”.

Swayambhu is being mounted with top technical standards and is expected to be the most expensive film in the actor’s career. Besides Nikhil Siddhartha and Samyukta Menon, the film will also be featuring an extensive ensemble cast in supporting characters but the details of the same are currently being kept under wraps.

As for the crew, with Manoj Paramahamsa coming on board for the cinematography, Ravi Basrur has been signed for composing the music. M Prabhaharan is the production designer and the dialogues for the movie are written by Vasudev Muneppagari. The shoot of the movie is expected to commence from today onwards.
