South film superstar Nayanthara and her filmmaker boyfriend Vignesh Shivan got their first dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Chennai. Vignesh took to his social media handle to share pictures of him Nayanthara getting their first jab.

Sharing the pictures, Vignesh wrote, "Please get vaccinated. Stay safe, say indoors".

Meanwhile, Nayanthara recently returned to Chennai after wrapping the shoot of Annaatthe in Hyderabad. The film also stars Rajinikanth. The superstar, too, took his second dose after returning to Chennai from Hyderabad.

Vignesh Shivan will soon resume the shooting for his directorial Kaathu Vakula Rendu Kaadhal which stars Vijay Sethupathi, Samantha, and Nayanthara.
