Naga Chaitanya’s team refutes reports of the actor starring in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 Tamil remake : Bollywood News

In recent news, speculation had been rife about the highly anticipated Tamil remake of the Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Numerous reports surfaced, suggesting that renowned actor Naga Chaitanya had been chosen to play the lead role in the South Indian adaptation. However, the actor's team has swiftly come forward to address these rumours, issuing a statement to quash the speculations.

Contrary to the circulating reports, Naga Chaitanya's team has firmly stated that the actor has not been roped in for the Tamil version of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The statement emphasized that the rumours were baseless and urged fans and the media to refrain from spreading false information.

It read, “FACT CHECK: The news which is being circulated on social media regarding @Chay_Akkineni doing the south remake of #BhoolBhulaiya2 is completely false. Requesting the respected media handles not to spread the fake news.”

For the unversed, according to a report by Deccan Chronicle, producer Gnanavel Raja has bagged the rights to the film and will remake the Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani starrer in Tamil. The report claimed that apart from Gnanavel Raja, a few more producers were also in the race to acquire the rights.

Speaking of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, it was among the highest-grossing films of 2022. Besides Kartik and Kiara, it also featured Tabu in a double role. Directed by Anees Bazmee, it was backed by T-Series, and the third instalment of the franchise is already announced.
