Today on the occasion of Mother's day, film superstars Kamal Haasan and Mohanlal went down the memory lane and treated fans with rare images from their younger days. Both the superstars of the Indian film industry took to their social media handles and shared a black-and-white picture with their respective mothers.

Mohanlal shared a picture of him from his childhood days. In the picture he can be seen posing beside his mother in a white shirt and short trousers. "Happy Mother's Day #mothersday #amma," wrote Mohanlal.

Meanwhile, Kamal Haasan shared a picture from what looks like his teenage years or his early 20s. He is seen sitting on the armrest of the chair his mother is seated in. "Mother is not just a person anymore. In my mind she is an emotion that moves me in the right direction everytime. Every day of mine is hers too. So yet another happy mother's day," the superstar captioned the post. Reacting to the post, Kamal Haasan's daughter Shruti shared multiple teary eyed emojis and wrote, "Awwwww".
