Mohanlal’s next big-screen venture, Vrusshabha, is all set for a worldwide theatrical release on November 6, 2025. The announcement has stirred excitement among fans eager to see the Malayalam superstar in a powerful new avatar. Written and directed by Nanda Kishore, it is described as an emotional saga revolving around love, destiny, and vengeance, highlighting the intense bond between a father and son.
Producer Ektaa R Kapoor shared her enthusiasm about the upcoming release, saying, “We are thrilled to announce that our magnum opus Vrusshabha will release on 6th November. It’s a story close to my heart, filled with powerful emotions, larger than life drama, and a celebration of Indian cinema’s grandeur. We cannot wait to bring Vrusshabha to audiences worldwide.”
Director Nanda Kishore added, “With Vrusshabha, we set out to create an epic that is as emotionally charged as it is visually breathtaking. This film is about relationships, sacrifice, and destiny colliding in ways that will leave audiences deeply moved. Breathing life into a story so unique and complex has been a mammoth effort from the entire team. I’m thrilled that audiences worldwide will finally experience it when it releases on 6th November 2025.”
The film’s recently released teaser offered a glimpse of Mohanlal as a warrior king, carrying the tagline “When Destiny Calls, Blood Must Answer.” With another evocative phrase — “Reborn Love – A Love So Strong, It Defies Death” — the teaser showcased the film’s blend of emotion and grandeur, transitioning dramatically between two timelines that hint at a story spanning generations.

Alongside Mohanlal, the film stars Samarjit Lankesh, Ragini Dwivedi, and Nayan Sarika, with more cast members yet to be revealed. The film also brings together a strong technical team featuring music by Sam CS, sound design by Resul Pookutty, and action choreography by Peter Hein, Stunt Silva, and Nikhil. Dialogues have been penned by SRK, Janardhan Maharshi, and Karthik.
Vrusshabha is presented by Connekkt Media and Balaji Telefilms Ltd in association with Abishek S Vyas Studios, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ektaa R Kapoor, C.K. Padma Kumar, Varun Mathur, Saurabh Mishra, Abishek S Vyas, Praveer Singh, Vishal Gurnani, and Juhi Parekh Mehta.
Shot simultaneously in Malayalam and Telugu, with dubbed versions in Hindi and Kannada, the film aims to deliver a large-scale cinematic experience that blends emotion, action, and visual spectacle. It is gearing up to be one of the most talked-about releases of 2025.
