In a Twitter revelation, acclaimed music composer MM Keeravaani disclosed the rigorous creative process behind his upcoming project, Chandramukhi 2. The Oscar-winning composer poured his heart and soul into the film's score, working tirelessly for two months, day and night, to ensure that the music complements the mind-blowing scenes.

Keeravaani, known for his exceptional work in the Indian film industry, shared his experience on Twitter, stating, "Watched Lyca Productions' Chandramukhi 2. The characters in the movie spend sleepless nights from fear of death. For me, 2 months of sleepless days and nights for adding life to the mind-blowing scenes with my efforts. Guru Kiran & my friend Vidyasagar, please wish me the best."

Directed by filmmaker P Vasu, Chandramukhi 2 boasts an impressive cast, with Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut taking on the lead roles. For Kangana Ranaut, this movie marks her third venture into the Tamil film industry following her appearances in Dhaam Dhoom (2008) and Thalaivii (2021).

Chandramukhi 2 inherits the legacy of its predecessor, Chandramukhi (2005), which itself was a remake of the classic Malayalam film Manichitrathazhu (1997). The 2005 film was a resounding success and featured powerhouse performances by Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Jyotika, Nayanthara, and Vadivelu in pivotal roles.

Apart from the lead duo, the ensemble cast of Chandramukhi 2 comprises artists such as Vadivelu, Radhika, Lakshmi Menon, Srushti Dange, Mahima Nambiar, and Ravi Maria, among others. The film is slated to release on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi this year on September 19.
