As a part of the promotions of the recent release Kushi, the star cast was to make a guest appearance on the ongoing popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu. The show is hosted by Telugu cinema’s superstar Nagarjuna and Vijay Deverakonda decided to meet with the host and interact with the audiences as well as the contestants on the show. In a recently released promo of this intriguing episode, we see Nagarjuna surprised by Vijay arriving alone without the leading lady Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Considering the same, the video has garnered ample attention on social media, and it has been going viral.
The recent promo saw Nagarjuna giving a grand welcome to Vijay Deverakonda as he looks at him and asks, “Why are you alone, where is Samantha?” After initially laughing it off, Vijay revealed to the host that she is currently in the US focusing on her health. For the unversed, Nagarjuna is the former father-in-law of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, since she was earlier married to his elder son Naga Chaitanya. There were reports stating that she decided to skip the appearance on Bigg Boss Telugu because she wanted to avoid meeting the host. However, in the past, we have seen that Samantha and Nagarjuna share a cordial relationship.
Despite the past, the superstar too not only expressed his concern for her well-being but also appreciated Samantha’s acting skills. He even went onto praise her chemistry with Vijay as he added that they make a great onscreen pair.

Speaking of Samantha Ruth Prabhu, the actress tied the knot with Naga Chaitanya in 2017 and four years after that, the couple announced their separation. However, neither of them has opened up about the reason for the same. On the other hand, earlier in 2022, the actress also announced her battle with the autoimmune disorder Myositis and after wrapping up Kushi as well as Citadel, Samantha is currently on a break to recoup from the treatment.
