The Kannada film KGF: Chapter 1 featuring Yash was one of the biggest films of 2018. The film which was released in multiple languages won Yash international recognition and several awards for his performance.
Two years after the release of the film, a Telugu channel has illegally aired the film and have landed in trouble. Following this, Karthik Gowda, the creative producer of Hombale Films took to Twitter to express his anger over the illegal telecast. He said that the team is planning to file a legal suit against the channel. Gowda also shared a screenshot clicked during the telecast of the film.
“A Telugu local channel named #Every^ is playing KGF film illegally. We will move legally against them and sue for their actions. While the satellite deal is on talks and almost finalised, a cable channel does this. We have ample proof woth screen shots, videos of the same," he wrote.

Meanwhile, the makers are currently working on the sequel of the film. While the film shooting is almost complete they have a couple of fight scenes to shoot between Yash and Sanjay Dutt. They were to shoot it in March, but had to postpone due to the ongoing health scare. Directed by Prashant Neel, the makers have decided to release the movie on October 23.
