From Kannur Squad trailer to Bramayugam First Look: On the birthday of Mammootty, makers unveil deets of his upcoming releases

Mammootty turned a year older on September 7 and the makers of his films Kannur Squad and Brahmayugam decided to wish him in a unique way.

The makers of the much-awaited film Kannur Squad decided to give a massive glimpse of the film by unveiling the trailer on September 7. The date was special for the producer and leading actor of the film, Mammootty who turned a year older on that day and the filmmakers decided to shower their love by releasing the trailer. On the other hand, makers of his film Bramayugam too decided to wish the actor in a rather unique way by releasing the first look poster of the film.

The upcoming action entertainer Kannur Squad features the actor in his most favourite role of an agent trying to nab a criminal. Going by the trailer of the film, Mammootty along with his team are sent to accomplish an undercover operation in the village in order to eliminate a criminal gang which has been causing terror across the country. In their bid to get justice, Mammootty and his talented squad must undergo the issues posed by high-level police authorities, villagers, and the influential gang members, who would stop at nothing! Reminding us of the no-nonsense Sethuraman Iyer, devoid of his ethnic look, Mammootty plays the inspiring police officer who constantly encourages, motivates and advices his team to stay on the right path as the go through loopholes and attempt every trick in the book to bring the criminals to justice.

Directed by Roby Varghese Raj, the film also stars Kishore, Vijayaraghavan, Rony David Raj, Azeez Nedumangad, Shabareesh Varma, Sarath Sabha, and Sunny Wayne. It is slated for release on September 28.

On the other hand, the makers of his much-awaited film Brahmayugam decided to do something special for the superstar as they shared the first look of Mammukka from the film. The actor was seen in a rather scary look with stained teeth and a rather vindictive grin. Going by his look, reports have it that the actor will be seen in a grey shaded role in this epic drama but there has been no update on the same.
