Kamal Haasan unveils Sivakarthikeyan starrer Amaran teaser as a part of the actor’s birthday celebrations

On Friday, Kamal Haasan unveiled the title teaser of his next production with Sivakarthikeyan, a day before the latter’s birthday.

Quite some time back, we had reported about the much-awaited collaboration between Karthikeya 2 actor Sivakarthikeyan and stalwart Kamal Haasan, with the latter producing this film. Tentatively titled SK21, the film finally received its title on February 16 as Amaran, a day before the birthday of the actor and furthermore, the makers have also unveiled an announcement teaser of sorts of the entertainer which also features Sai Pallavi in a key role.

On Friday, the banner Turmeric Media unveiled the teaser of Amaran which features Sivakarthikeyan in the role of a military officer, who is a part of the anti-terrorist squad Rashtriya Rifles, and the team sets out on a dangerous mission to save his citizens from the unruly and brutal terrorists in Kashmir. With ample of patriotism and action elements, the film promises audiences to take them on a ride filled with emotions, bloodshed, and a battle where military officials have put everything at stake to save the nation’s citizens.

Kamal Haasan, who is bankrolling the film under the banner Raaj Kamal Films International, shared the teaser of Amaran on his X handle. Alongside the teaser, he wrote, "Happy birthday dear brother @Siva_Kartikeyan I wish you a long life. #Amaran Delighted to release the title teaser of the movie (sic)."

Along with Sai Pallavi in a key role, Amaran will also feature actors from other industries of Indian Cinema like Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Ajaey Naga and others. The action drama promises to be filled with intense emotional moments set against the backdrop of a patriotic theme. The music is given by GV Prakash with cinematography handled by CH Sai and editing will be done by R Kalaivanan. Directed and scripted by Rajkumar Periyasamy, who is also known for the 2017 army-based film Rangoon, Amaran is slated to release soon.
