Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi starrer Vikram to release on June 3 : Bollywood News

For the first time ever, power-house performers Kamal Haasan, Fahadh Faasil, and Vijay Sethupathi will be sharing screen space in Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming Tamil film Vikram. On Monday morning the makers announced the release date of the film. The much awaited film will hit the big screens on June 3.

Sharing the announcement video which includes BTS videos from the steps of the film, Kamal Haasan wrote, "I am waiting with bated breath for our "Vikram" to release world over, in theatres on June 3rd 2022."

The film which is the most anticipated film in the Southern market will be clashing with Akshay Kumar's Prithviraj.

The shoot of the film was wrapped on March 1 after shooting for a total of 110 days. Actors Fahadh Faasil and Narain were a part of the last day of the shoot. Marking the end of the shoot, the director shared a video from the sets featuring Fahadh in his character. In the video, an intense-looking Fahadh is seen firing gunshots followed by the whole team shouting, "It's a wrap". Sharing the video, Lokesh posted, "After 110 days of shoot it’s a WRAP. Thanx to the entire cast and crew for the EXTRAORDINARY effort!" (sic)

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and music by Anirudh Ravichander, Vikram’s principal shooting began in August of 2021. Kamal Haasan is said to be playing the role of a cop in the action drama. Apart from Fahadh, Kamal, and Vijay, the film also stars Narain and Kalidas Jayaram in pivotal roles.
