While fans have been eagerly awaiting to this what this highly-anticipated Nag Ashwin directorial has in store for them, the wait is now finally over. After a short teaser, now the makers will be the unveiling the trailer of the sci-fi magnum opus, Kalki 2898 AD, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani on June 10, 2024.
Fans worldwide have been eagerly awaiting a glimpse into this futuristic extravaganza after the successful release of the prelude title B&B Bujji & Bhairava on Amazon Prime. Announcing the trailer launch on Wednesday morning, the film’s official handle shared the news on social media along with a caption that read, “A new world awaits #Kalki2898AD Trailer on June 10th.” Interestingly the trailer release date was announced with a new poster where we can see Bhairava i.e played by Prabhas standing tall on the peak of a mountain with the words on the poster “Everything is about to change”

Kalki 2898 AD features an ensemble cast of some of the most celebrated actors in Indian cinema, and it has generated significant interest in Indian and international markets for its extensive sets and innovations, especially considering that the film will take us to an era which is over 800 years in the future.

Produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, the music for the sci-fi post apocalyptic drama is composed by Santosh, whereas the cinematography is handled by Djordje Stojiljkovic and Kotagiri Venkateshwara Rao as the film editor. It is set for a worldwide release on June 27, 2024 in multiple languages including Hindi.
