Kajal Aggarwal has been enjoying her quality time with her son Neil Kitchlu. However, her maternity break has now come to an end and the actress has decided to kick off work with the much-talked about film, Indian 2, co-starring Kamal Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh. Kajal took to social media to talk about her return to the sets of the S Shankar film.

Kajal Aggarwal took to Twitter to share a monochrome photo of herself from the vanity van, accompanied by a team member as she was getting dressed up for her role in Indian 2. While she clearly did not want to unveil her look from the film, she hid it with a massive pink shining heart emoji. She captioned it saying, “#Indian2 #COMINGSOON”. Fans of the actress were obviously thrilled with this announcement as they continued to drop ‘welcome back’ comments for her and showering their love on the post.

Reports have it that Indian 2 went on floors in Chennai and it is expected to have a month-long schedule. The team is expected to have recently also wrapped up a schedule in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. Not too long ago, talking about her prep for the film, Kajal had taken to Instagram to share a long post about her post-partum journey, in which she also revealed about taking horse riding lessons for the film. She also expressed her eagerness of resuming the shoot of this action entertainer saying, “#Indian2 I’m so glad I’ve jumped back into the drill with you. Stoked to learn new skills on the job and pursue them as hobbies after. So fortunate to be a part of this industry I call home! Grateful for the opportunities to constantly learn and become an upgraded version of myself.”

Coming to Indian 2, the film will have Kamal Haasan reprise the role of Senapathy whereas Rakul Preet Singh is the second female lead along with Kajal. The pan-India film also boasts of an ensemble cast which includes Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram, among others. While the film will release in multiple languages including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, the release date is yet to be announced.
