Jr NTR terms RRR as the landmark film of his career; praises the cast and technicians of SS Rajamouli’s directorial : Bollywood News

Jr NTR was one of the leads of SS Rajamopuli's magnum-opus RRR which is currently breaking records at the box office. The film was released on March 25 after several delays. The film also stars Ram Charan in the lead. The two leads play the role of freedom fighters- Alluri Sitarama and Komaram Bheem. After the mega-success of the film, on Tuesday Jr NTR took to his social media handle to share a long note thanking and praising the entire team, of the film.

"I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who made RRR, a landmark film in my career, possible," he started at the note. He thanked SS Rajamouli, who he fondly addresses as Jakkanna for inspiring him to give his best. Praising Ram Charan, he said, "My brother, I can't imagine acting in RRR without you...Not only RRR but Bheem would have been incomplete without you." NTR also praised Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt who made special appearances in the film.

Jr NTR also mentioned and thanked Olivia, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. He also thanked MM Keeravani Garu for his soulful music composition. He appreciated Vijayendra Prasad by calling the script, “one of the finest scripts of Indian cinema".

Jr NTR also thanked the technicians of the film, the Indian film fraternity, and the Indian media and fans for making the film a massive success.

RRR marks Alia Bhatt's debut in the South Industry. Along with Alia, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also have a cameo in the film. RRR stands for Rise, Roar, and Revolt, and the film is based on two freedom fighters - Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad.
