The much-awaited magnum opus RRR directed by SS Rajamouli is currently running in theatres across the world. The film that was released worldwide on March 25 stars Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead. The film opened to glowing reviews from critics and the audiences and has already started breaking records at the box-office. Housefull boards were displayed in cinema halls across the country with people queuing up outside theatres to watch the movie. Several celebrities also took to their social media handles to praise the film. On Monday morning, Karan Johar, took to his Twitter to praise the film and the team.

Appreciating the brilliance of SS Rajamouli who hit hattrick after the back-to-back success of Baahubali and Baahubali 2, Karan said, “There are filmmaker’s and then there is @ssrajamouli sir ! He can take your breathe away and he does it again with #RRR ! Salute to his vision and his mega master ability to execute it with the expertise of a GENIUS”.

RRR marks Alia Bhatt's debut in the South Industry. Along with Alia, Ajay Devgn and Shriya Saran also have a cameo in the film. RRR stands for Rise, Roar, and Revolt, and the film is based on two freedom fighters - Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharamaraju, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad.
