Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel team up for high-octane action film NTRNeel; shoot begins April 22 : Bollywood News

A new action-packed venture is set to begin rolling as Jr. NTR joins hands with director Prashanth Neel for a highly anticipated film, tentatively titled NTRNeel. Backed by Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts, the film’s shoot will commence on April 22, as per earlier reports.

Now, ahead of the shoot, the makers decided to tease the audience by dropping a striking image of Jr. NTR and Prashanth Neel near a seashore, adding excitement among them. The accompanying caption read, “Two MASS ENGINES ready to wreck it all from tomorrow #NTRNeel will shake the shorelines of Indian cinema”.

The project brings together two successful forces in contemporary Indian cinema. Jr. NTR, who was last seen in Devara: Part 1 - one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of 2024 - is returning to the sets following the film’s strong reception, particularly in overseas markets like Japan. Meanwhile, Prashanth Neel continues his momentum after delivering the commercially successful Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, which performed strongly in theatres and on streaming platforms.

Though plot details remain under wraps, the combination of Jr. NTR’s intense screen persona and Neel’s gritty storytelling style has raised expectations for a high-octane cinematic experience. The film is said to aim for a grand scale, comparable to the KGF series, which Neel is best known for.

The project is produced by Kalyan Ram Nandamuri, Naveen Yerneni, Ravi Shankar Yalamanchili, and Hari Krishna Kosaraju. The makers have so far kept the supporting cast and technical crew details under tight wraps, adding to the growing anticipation. As NTRNeel begins production with the cameras set to roll, fans and industry watchers alike will be keeping a close eye on how this collaboration unfolds in the months ahead.
