The makers of Jai Hanuman extended birthday wishes to filmmaker Prasanth Varma on social media as anticipation surrounding the upcoming mythological action epic continues to grow. The film, starring National Award-winning actor Rishab Shetty in the role of Lord Hanuman, is one of the most awaited projects from the expanding Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.
Prasanth Varma, who gained nationwide recognition after the success of HanuMan, is now gearing up for the next chapter in his cinematic universe with Jai Hanuman. The film is being mounted on a large scale by Mythri Movie Makers and is presented by T-Series.
On the occasion of the director’s birthday, the makers shared a special post on social media featuring Prasanth Varma. Along with the picture, they wrote, “Happy Birthday to the visionary director @prasanthvarmaofficial The dream he has nurtured and the world he has envisioned for #JaiHanuman are going to be remembered as a historic chapter in Indian cinema Team JAI HANUMAN”.

The film is set in Kaliyug and is expected to blend mythology with large-scale action and drama. According to the makers, Jai Hanuman explores themes of devotion, loyalty, and strength while presenting Hanuman as a timeless spiritual force. The makers had earlier unveiled Rishab Shetty’s first-look poster from the film, which received strong reactions online for its intense visual presentation and mythological detailing.
Rishab Shetty is also said to be undergoing a major physical transformation for the role in an effort to authentically portray the character on screen. The actor, who won the National Award for Kantara, will headline the ambitious project as the central figure in the narrative.
The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The makers are reportedly backing the film on a substantial budget with a focus on high technical and visual standards.
Jai Hanuman also features a notable technical crew. Oscar-winning composer M.M. Keeravani has been roped in to compose the music for the film, while cinematography is being handled by S. Thirunavukkarasu. Production design for the project is overseen by Srinagendhra Thangala.
While further details regarding the film’s release schedule are yet to be announced, Jai Hanuman has already emerged as one of the major upcoming mythological spectacles in Indian cinema.
