Father-son actor duo Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are all set to reunite on screen with the upcoming Telugu film Bangarraju. The duo had earlier shared the screen in the film Manam. Ahead of the release of the film, the duo got into a conversation with Bollywood Hungama and discussed many topics relating to the south as well as the north film industry.
EXCLUSIVE: “We want to connect with the people, and larger the scale, the better for us”- Naga Chaitanya on Pan-India cinemaUpon being asked about the recent phase of Pan-Indian cinema and the extended reach that makers have nowadays, Naga Chaitanya said, “We are all acting in films to get the maximum exposure. We want to connect with the people and the larger the scale, the better for us.” The actor continued, “putting aside the money aspect, the reach is what matters, we want to be closer to people. Now language is not a barrier anymore. As long as the emotion connects, that’s all people want and I am so happy that from the south we are able to connect and create this Pan-India audience that’s been happening recently because it gives us so much more exposure. It is definitely a fascinating phase.”
Their film Bangarraju will hit the theatres on January 14. Apart from that, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya will also be seen in two different Bollywood films as well. While Naga Chaitanya will mark his debut with Laal Singh Chaddha with Aamir Khan, Nagarjuna will play a special role in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmastra.
