The upcoming film Martin starring Dhruv Sarja in the lead, directed by AP Arjun, is poised to make a significant impact on the international stage. Initially planned as a pan-India release, the film is now set to debut in over 13 languages worldwide which will release simultaneously, marking a notable advancement in the Indian film industry.

Here’s the list of languages Martin will release in

Producer Uday Mehta highlighted the film's global ambitions, and stated, “Instead of the traditional approach where pan-India films would release internationally several months later, Martin aims for a coordinated global launch. The film will be released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi, with additional releases planned in Bengali, Arabic, Bangla, Japanese, Chinese, Russian, and Spanish”.

This film will also be released in Dubai in five Indian languages, with potential Arabic and Spanish releases in South America. Recognizing the popularity of Indian cinema in Russia, the team is exploring opportunities for releases in both Russian and Chinese. This initiative represents an unprecedented move in Indian cinema, aiming to capitalize on new international markets.

Makers are planning to release the trailer in 13 languages too

Moreover, the makers of Martin are also set to launch the film's trailer in Mumbai on August 5, showcasing it in 13 languages to the international media audience as well. However, the Kannada version of the trailer will debut a day prior on August 4 at Veeresh Theatres, albeit will be available for a fee.

Dhruva Sarja too shared his confidence that Martin will appeal to a global audience and he noted that while many films today are marketed as pan-India, this release in foreign languages will be benefiting the film. “Martin is poised to reach beyond linguistic boundaries. It’s an action-packed entertainer with dramatic elements that make it universally appealing,” he added.

About Martin

Apart from Dhruv Sarja, the film will also star Vaibhavi Shandilya, Anveshi Jain, Sukrutha Wagle, Achyuth Kumar, and Nikitin Dheer in key roles. As for the technical crew, the cinematography is handled by Satya Hegde and the music is composed by Ravi Basrur. It will release worldwide on October 11, 2024.
