Dhanush's son, Yatra, garnered widespread attention on social media after reports emerged that he received a fine from the police for breaking traffic rules. A video circulating online showed Yatra on a superbike in the Poes Garden locality of Chennai, with a mentor assisting him in the process of learning to ride.

Unfortunately, the video went viral, highlighting that Yatra wasn't wearing a helmet, and the bike's number plate wasn't visible. Additionally, he wasn't carrying his driver's license, compounding the traffic violations. Police confirmed Yatra's identity through his mother, Aishwarya Rajinikanth, as he wore a mask in the video. The police, after an investigation, imposed a Rs 1000 fine on Yatra for the traffic infractions. Despite Dhanush and Aishwarya Rajinikanth's separation, announced a year ago, they remain committed to prioritizing their sons' well-being.

On the fil front, Dhanush is preparing for the release of Arun Matheswaran's period action film, Captain Miller, which is set to hit the screens during Pongal 2024. The movie boasts a diverse cast, including Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nassar, Sundeep Kishan, Vinoth Kishan, among others, and stands out with the unique feature of being released in three parts. Alongside this, Dhanush is venturing into his second directorial endeavour, tentatively titled D50, marking a significant milestone as his 50th project in the film industry. The film is anticipated to showcase talents like Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Aparna Balamurali, and others in pivotal roles.
