Composer G V Prakash Kumar joins hands with Raaj Kamal Production for Sivakarthikeyan starrer SK21

SK21 will feature Sai Pallavi as the leading lady and is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy.

Raaj Kamal Productions is collaborating with Sivakarthikeyan for an interesting project which will also feature Sai Pallavi as the leading lady. While it will be written and directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the untitled film has been currently referred to as SK21. The film is expected to have gone on floors recently and along with that, a new celebrity has been added to the list of the team members of the film. Music composer G. V. Prakash Kumar has joined them.

Taking to Twitter, and giving a warm welcome to G. V. Confirming the announcement, the composer added, “A superb script from director @Rajkumar_KP … waiting for this beauty to translate soon . This boy is going to make it big … thanks #Mahendran sir”.

As the composer gushed about the work of the filmmaker, Rajkumar too responded to these words of praise, saying, “You are very kind, dear @gvprakash bro! Thank you!! I’ve always treasured ur talent.. Coming to the film, although details of its plot etc. is currently being kept under wraps, Sivakarthikeyan had opened up about the project saying, “It’s a project filled with multiple emotions for me. Kamal Haasan sir is a master craftsman of Indian Cinema. Infact he’s an international icon living amidst us. To work on a project in which this iconic legend is the producer, itself is a great feeling for me. Sony Pictures Films India is again a global brand who have their humongous success tag right there along their name. I’m very happy to be working along them. And all this has become possible today, only due to my friend, director Rajkumar Periasamy and his script. I firmly believe this project is going to be a very important film in my career.”

The film will be produced by SPFI, who marks their foray into the Tamil film industry with this venture, along with God Bless Entertainment as co-producers.
