Well-known South Indian choreographer Brindha is all set to make her directorial debut with the film titled Hey Sinamika. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan, Kajal Aggarwal and Aditi Rao Hydari.
The film went on floors today and actor Dulquer Salmaan took to his Instagram handle to announce the same. Sharing a picture with the team of Hey Sinamika, Dulquer wrote, "The magic of new beginnings ! Starting the journey of #HeySinamika with some lovely ladies Aditi Rao Hydari, Kajal Aggarwal and under the guidance of my dearest Brinda master, our film began shoot today. @jiostudios @aditiraohydari @kajalaggarwalofficial @brinda_gopal @officialjiocinema @globalonestudios”
The title of the film is also the title of the popular track from the Mani Ratnam film Ok Kanmani which had Dulquer Salman and Nithya Menen. The film had music by AR Rahman. Interestingly, filmmaker Mani Ratnam and actress Suhasini Maniratnam were also present on day one of the shoots.
Brindha has previously worked with Dulquer Salmaan and the two had recently collaborated for an advertisement.
