The team behind Peddi recently met megastar Chiranjeevi, who congratulated the cast and crew following the film’s theatrical release. Pictures from the meeting were shared on social media by the makers, offering fans a glimpse of the interaction between the veteran actor and the team led by Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana.
The film, which hit theatres earlier this month, has been one of the most talked-about Telugu releases of the year. Following its release, the makers shared photographs from their meeting with Chiranjeevi, where the actor extended his wishes to the team.

The meeting holds particular significance as Peddi features Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan in the lead role. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the sports-action drama marks one of the filmmaker’s most ambitious projects to date and brings together a diverse ensemble cast.
Apart from Ram Charan in the titular role, the film stars Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, Divyendu Sharma, and Jagapathi Babu in key roles. Peddi has been written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas. The film has been backed in association with Mythri Movie Makers and IVY Entertainment.
The movie premiered internationally on June 3, 2026, before opening in cinemas worldwide on June 4. In North India, the film was released by Jio Studios. Since its release, the film has remained a topic of discussion among audiences, with conversations largely centred on its performances, scale, and storytelling approach.
