Promising to be a treat to horror fans, makers of Bramayugam have unveiled the trailer of the Mammootty starrer. The fantasy and supernatural elements accompanied by the menacing look of the Malayalam superstar along with the fact that it is completely shot in the black-and-white format, these intriguing details have already garnered ample attention. Adding to the suspense, the recently released trailer takes audiences further into the spooky world of this new era. The movie, which also stars Arjun Ashokan in a key role, will feature the Malayalam actor in a never-seen-before look.

While the teaser showcased how two men enter a haunted world where nothing is as it seems, the trailer gives us a deeper insight into this horrific world. It transports everyone to a world where the stakes are high as you have to indulge in a game of life and death with none other than Mammukka himself. The scary and gruesome tales unfold bit by bit as we are introduced to a ruthless landlord essayed by Mammootty, and the only way to survive in this world ruled by him is to ensure victory over him during a game of ‘roll the dice’. As your fate and luck are the only weapons to survive in this world of horror, how will they decide their path is the cliffhanger, the trailer leaves us with!

Also starring Siddharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz, Bramayugam is written and directed by Rahul Sadasivan. The filmmaker, who is also known for the horror film Bhoothakaalam (2022), had described this Mammootty starrer as the film which has its roots in the dark ages of Kerala. Produced by Night Shift Studios and YNOT Studios, the film is slated for release on February 15 in five languages including Malayalam.
