After two months of tying the knot with the man of her dreams Jagjit Desai, actress Amala Paul has announced her pregnancy and also posted photos of her what seems like a five-month baby bump. The couple took to social media to announce this good news to fans and even posted glimpses of the maternity shoot set against the backdrop of a serene beach.

In a joint post shared by Amala Paul and Jagjit Desai, the duo posted a series of photos wherein, the first one featured Jagjit and Amala’s pictures beautifully blended in a way wherein it feels like the to-be-father has captured a pregnant Amala in his heart. In yet another photo, the couple were seen flaunting the baby bump and in the third one, their feet was captured in the midst of the beautiful sand and sea. Captioning these photos, Amala said, “Now I know that 1+1 is 3 with you” and even expressed her gratitude towards everyone who were instrumental in putting together this photoshoot.

For the unversed, Amala Paul tied the knot with Jagjit Desai in a beautiful resort on November 5 in Kochi, Kerala amid friends, family, and close ones. The couple, who had opted for a lilac lavender theme for their outfits, took to social media to share this good news in a joint post wherein they wrote, “Celebrating the love & grace that brought us together… #Married to my divine masculine… Seeking your love and blessings”.

Amala Paul made her debut in Malayalam in 2009 with the film Neelathamara. She went on to do several films in Malayalam as well as other South languages like Tamil and Telugu. The actress made her Hindi debut with the Ajay Devgn starrer Bholaa, in which she featured in a special appearance as Dr. Swara.
