Actor Allu Sirish has officially begun his wedding week festivities with a traditional Pelli Koduku ceremony held at the Allu family residence in Hyderabad. The intimate gathering turned into a talking point after newlyweds Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna made a special appearance, marking one of their first public outings together since their wedding on February 26, 2026.
The Pelli Koduku ceremony, a significant pre-wedding ritual in Telugu traditions, commenced with the sacred mangala snanam. During the ritual, the groom is ceremonially bathed and anointed with turmeric and sandalwood paste, symbolising purification, blessings, and his transition into married life. The ceremony is considered auspicious and sets the spiritual tone for the wedding celebrations that follow.
Following the ritual bath, close family members and friends gathered to bless Allu Sirish. Women from the extended family circle offered gifts and conveyed heartfelt wishes, creating an atmosphere that was both intimate and steeped in cultural tradition. The décor and arrangements reflected the family’s deep-rooted respect for customs, with the celebrations remaining private and elegant.
The ceremony saw the presence of prominent members of the Allu family, including producer Allu Aravind and superstar Allu Arjun, who attended with his wife Sneha Reddy. Another superstar Ram Charan, who is the cousin of Allu Arjun and Allu Sirish, was also present alongside Upasana Konidela. Balachandra’s wife Vasundhara and other close relatives joined in to bless the groom.
