The state of Andhra Pradesh witnessed heavy rainfalls recently leading to massive flooding in several parts of the state. Now, members from the Telugu film industry have come forward to provide monetary help for those affected by the flood. The likes of Ram Charan, Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and Jr NTR have donated Rs. 25 lakh each to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Relief Fund.

The situation in Andhra Pradesh remains grim with thousands affected by the massive floods caused by unseasonal rain. Normal life has been severely affected by the floods.

Allu Arjun, on Thursday, took to his social media handle and wrote, “My heart goes out to the people of Andhra Pradesh who have been affected by the recent floods. I am making a contribution of Rs. 25 lakh towards @AndhraPradeshCM Relief Fund to aid with the rehabilitation efforts.”

"Moved by the plight of people affected by the recent floods in Andhra Pradesh, I am contributing 25 lakhs as a small step to aid in their recovery," wrote Jr NTR on Twitter on Wednesday evening.

Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi too contributed Rs. 25 lakh each towards the state's relief fund.
