Ajith Kumar announces new racing team; to participate in the 24h European series : Bollywood News

Ajith Kumar has taken his hobby to the next level by investing in it as an entrepreneur. The Tamil megastar has announced his arrival in the racing scene by launching his own team Ajith Kumar Racing and have also unveiled several details about it. Fans of the superstar will be aware that the popular South star has always had a penchant for wheels and now, he will officially be a part of the races and that too on a global scale.

Recently, Manager Suresh Chandra took to the social media to share this announcement about Ajith venturing into racing along with a note that read, “We are proud to announce the beginning of a new exciting adventure: Ajith Kumar Racing. Fabian Duffieuxwill be the official racing driver. And the amazing news? Aside of being a team owner, Ajith Kumar is back in the racing seat!” “The newly racing team will be engaged in various internationals racing series starting with the competitive @24hseries European series in the @porsche 992 GT3 cup category. One of our biggest aim will be to help talented young drivers while providing them a fully supported racing program”, the statement read.

Apart from that, the note also included details of Ajith’s past achievements in the sports arena. “Ajith is among very few Indians to race in the International arena and in FIA championships.
He competed in the 2004 Formula Asia BMW F3 Championships and he raced in the 2010 Formula 2 Championship!!” Not too long ago, he had also shared details of how Ajith was seen testing the Ferrari 488 EVO Challenge at Dubai Autodrome and even shared photos from the same.

Coming to his film commitments, while Thunivu was his last theatrical release, Ajith Kumar is gearing up for Vidaa Muyarchi co-starring Trisha Krishnan which is slated to hit theatres this year. Meanwhile, he also has Good Bad Ugly in the pipeline and the actor has also started shooting for the same.
