Kamal Haasan and S Shankar are all set to reunite for the highly anticipated Indian 2. The film has bene on the cards for quite some time now since the makers were always keen on reviving the 1996 franchise. While fans are eagerly awaiting an update on this entertainer which went on floors a few years ago, they will be thrilled to know that they will soon be getting a glimpse of the movie next month.

Ahead of the birthday of Kamal Haasan which falls on November 7, the makers have decided to introduce audiences to the world of Indian 2 on November 3. The production house, Lyca took to social media to share this good news wherein they tagged the entire team of the film and captioned it saying, “Celebration begins early ?? Get ready for "INDIAN-2 AN INTRO" a glimpse of #Indian2 ???? releasing on NOV 3”.

For the unversed, Indian 2 will also star Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, SJ Suryah, among others in pivotal roles. In an earlier interview, Rakul had opened up about the experience of sharing screen space with superstar and Ulaganayakan Kamal Haasan saying, “It’s surreal. Chachi 420, for example, was my favourite film. Working alongside individuals you’ve admired—people who’ve been in the profession for so long and had so much experience and have yet remained grounded—I think it’s a very refreshing experience."

As for the rest of the technical team of Indian 2, it includes, editor Sreekar Prasad, action director duo AnbAriv, DOP Ravi Varman, among others. The music will be composed by the much-loved Anirudh Ravichandar. For the unversed, the film went on floors a few years ago but faced several hindrances and obstacles including the pandemic during its shoot. While the release date of the film was postponed owing to the delays, the makers are yet to lock the finalize the same.
