Several Indian actors have tried their luck in politics. While some have had a good run and are continuing in the oath, others have failed to make a mark. In the south, actors like Kamal Haasan, Prakash Raj are among the many actors who are into politics.
Recently, there were rumours that Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu is going to try his hand at politics. However, the actor has categorically denied it. In an interview, the actor said that the only thing he wants to do is acting. The actor has been acting since he was a child. Talking about his days as a child actor, he said he loved doing what he was doing. He said that he had to miss school for a year because of acting and that is when his father asked him to get back to acting only after completing his studies. The Bharat Aane Nenu actor feels that this is the only thing he knows.
Mahesh Babu had made his acting debut at the age of four and continued to work till the age of 15. After that, he focussed on completing his education. He returned on the big screen as the lead actor in Telugu films at the age of 25.
Meanwhile, Mahesh is currently gearing for the release of his next film titled Sarileru Neekevvaru. The film will see him suit up as an army general and is set to release on August 15, 2020.
