As the film completes four years, the makers marked the milestone by unveiling one of the posters featuring Allu Arjun as Pushparaj, seated with his now-iconic swag. Alongside the visual, the team shared a caption celebrating the journey of the character and the film’s impact, "4 YEARS since #Pushpa began his RISE and etched his BRAND in Indian cinema history…. Pushpa: The Rise stood out for its raw tone, grounded storytelling, and characters rooted in a distinct socio-political landscape. Allu Arjun’s portrayal of Pushparaj — marked by a unique body language, dialogue delivery, and attitude — turned the character into a pop-culture reference point. The film also featured Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli and Fahadh Faasil as the formidable Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, both of whom added significant weight to the narrative.

The music by Devi Sri Prasad played a key role in amplifying the film’s reach, with tracks like ‘Srivalli’, ‘Saami Saami’, and ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava’ becoming widely popular across languages and platforms. The film’s impact was further underlined when it won National Awards for Best Actor (Allu Arjun) and Best Music Direction.

Following the success of the first instalment, the franchise expanded with Pushpa 2: The Rule, which continued the story of Pushparaj and deepened the conflict hinted at in the original film. Meanwhile, Pushpa 3: The Rampage is expected to go on floors soon and is widely anticipated to be the final chapter in the series.

Four years on, Pushpa: The Rise continues to be remembered not just as a film, but as the starting point of a franchise that reshaped how Pan-India cinema is perceived.
