Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise, who recently released the full-length trailer of the action-packed movie, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One, is gearing up for the release of his next. Helmed by Christopher McQuarrie, the seventh instalment in the franchise is the longest one yet.

As reported by IGN, the movie’s runtime has been revealed and it clocks two hours and 36 minutes without credits. It surpasses 2018's Mission: Impossible Fallout, which had a runtime of 2 hours and 27 minutes.

This time, Rebecca Ferguson, Ving Rhames, and Simon Pegg reprise their roles whereas he is joined by Hayley Atwell. In Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team embark on their most dangerous mission yet: To track down a terrifying new weapon that threatens all of humanity before it falls into the wrong hands. With control of the future and the fate of the world at stake, and dark forces from Ethan's past closing in, a deadly race around the globe begins. Confronted by a mysterious, all-powerful enemy, Ethan is forced to consider that nothing can matter more than his mission – not even the lives of those he cares about most.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part I will open on July 12, 2023, with Paramount and Skydance. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part II will hit theaters on June 28, 2024.
