Tom Cruise fights Esai Morales on top of speeding train in jaw-dropping new photo of Mission Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part I

Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise recently wrapped another action-packed movie, Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part I. The news was confirmed by the director Christopher McQuarrie. Now, Empire Magazine has unveiled an exclusive photo of Tom Cruise on top of a speeding train and in action-packed jaw-dropping sequence.

In the photo, Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt fights Esai Morales’ villain on top of a speeding train. “We’re making a movie that involves sequence that they just don’t shoot practically anymore, and haven’t in a long, long time,” director Christopher McQuarrie told Empire on set in 2021, while marshaling the locomotive action. “The sequence that we’re shooting right now is no exception. And like most things on Mission: Impossible, if we had known what the challenges were when we started, we would never have done it.”

A week ago, CinemaCon 2023 got an exclusive sneak preview of Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part I, featuring a brand-new car chase through the streets of Rome! As per a report in Variety, “in a 20-minute sequence, Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell, playing a mysterious operator, evade multiple different antagonists while driving at breakneck speed through the streets of Rome. Cruise and Atwell are seen handcuffed throughout much of the chase, which finds them jumping on and discarding motorcycles, police cars, and beat-up autos intended for the junkyard.”

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part I will open on July 12, 2023, with Paramount and Skydance. Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part II will hit theaters on June 28, 2024.
