SAW X: Tobin Bell on returning as the serial killer Jigsaw: "It’s a window into a particular period in his life and he takes you on that journey with him"

Packed with gore, terror and deadly traps, Lionsgate is all set to release SAW X in Indian theatres on 28th September, marking the first time the franchise makes its way to the country. Starring the iconic Tobin Bell, who returns as the serial killer Jigsaw, the film follows John Kramer on a journey of personal vengeance. When John learns about a miraculous cure for his cancer, he ventures to Mexico for treatment. On finding out it is a scam to exploit vulnerable people, he vows to exact revenge in SAW style. Directed by Kevin Greutert, SAW X also sees Shawnee Smith reprise her role as Amanda.

Talking about the story and his character, Tobin Bell said, “SAW X is John Kramer’s story. It’s a window into a particular period in his life and he takes you on that journey with him.” Further adding on, the actor said, “John has been a civil engineer and architect for almost 40 years and what I find so interesting about him is that he’s so well versed in philosophy, science, even theology. John is well read, intelligent, and above all, committed…unlike many of us who look around and complain about things and do nothing about them.”

Helmed By Kevin Greutert, the movie will be released by Lionsgate and PVRINOX Pictures in India.
