Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated movie Deadpool & Wolverine with a new round of promotions. This marks Jackman's return to the iconic Wolverine character after his farewell in 2017's Logan. However, their friendship stretches back to 2008, when Reynolds first landed the role of Deadpool (Wade Wilson) in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. In a recent interview with People magazine, Jackman, a seasoned X-Men veteran, reminisced about welcoming the newcomer with open arms.
Their bond transcends the typical Hollywood co-star relationship. "There are probably very few friends you can tell anything to, anything you're ashamed of, embarrassed of,” Jackman confided in Reynolds for the magazine's cover story.

This deep trust has blossomed over the years, especially in recent times. Jackman said, “So you can tell me anything and I can tell you anything, and I don't feel like you're going to be judging or necessarily giving me the answer: ‘Do this.’ And I think that has been the key.”
“I am genuinely rooting for you, all the time. I want you to win. It’s the same way I feel about Blake. As I'm rooting for her, I know she's rooting for me, and it's why we're so connected,” Reynolds added.
Taking to Instagram to share their People magazine covers, Reynolds playfully captioned his post, “Does this make @DeadpoolMovie the sexiest movie alive?” Jackman, never one to miss a jab, countered on his own page, “One of these covers is going to sell way more copies.”

Shawn Levy takes the helm as director for Deadpool & Wolverine, with Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman reprising their beloved roles. The cast also includes familiar faces like Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, and Karan Soni, alongside some exciting new additions like Emma Corrin, Rob Delaney, and Matthew Macfadyen.
