The Wild Robot hits theatres across India on October 18th! Adapted from Peter Brown’s award-winning, No. 1 New York Times bestseller, Universal Pictures (distributed by Warner Bros. Discovery) brings to audiences an enchanting animated film, directed by three-time Academy Award nominee Chris Sanders. Featuring the voices of a stellar cast, including Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Kit Connor, Mark Hamill, and Stephanie Hsu, this highly anticipated release is all set to be an immersive cinematic experience, bringing a beloved story to life on the big screen in all its glory.

At the heart of The Wild Robot is Roz, short for ROZZUM Unit 7134, voiced by Academy Award winner Lupita Nyong’o Roz, a robot stranded on an uninhabited island. Initially aimless, her journey takes an unexpected turn when she discovers a goose egg and instinctively nurtures the hatchling. As Roz bonds with the island’s animals, she evolves from a machine into a caretaker and friend. Nyong’o shares her insights that shaped Roz’s innocence and authenticity, marking her character’s growth in the upcoming film.
