Paul Walker's daughter Meadow Walker shares preview of her cameo in Fast X; says, “Blessed to honor my father’s legacy”

Meadow Walker, the daughter of the late actor Paul Walker, will have a cameo in the upcoming movie Fast X, the latest instalment in the popular Fast and Furious franchise. The news was confirmed by the 22-year-old on her official Instagram account, where she expressed her excitement about the opportunity to honour her father's legacy. Meadow, on Thursday, shared a snip from the upcoming flick, which appeared to take place on a plane.

Captioning the photo, Walker wrote, “A preview of my cameo in Fast X.” She further added, “The first fast was released when I was one year old! I grew up on set watching my father, Vin, Jordana, Michelle, Chris and more on the monitors. Thanks to my dad, I was born into the fast family. I can’t believe now I get to be up there too. With those who have been around to see me grow up. Thank you.”

She also thanked Fast X director Louis Leterrier for his “kindness, patience and support.” An excerpt of her caption, dedicated to Louis, read, “It feels like you’ve been part of the family since we started, I’m happy it’s just the beginning.” Then she went on to give shout out to Paul’s best friend, who is now her best friend, producer Brandon Birtell. She concluded the write up by adding, “I am so blessed to be able to honor my father’s legacy and share this with him forever x.”

For the unversed, since Paul Walker's death in 2013 at the age of 40, the "Fast" movie franchise has continued to pay homage to the actor and his character, Brian O'Conner, the undercover cop-turned-outlaw. Furious 7 was the last film in the series to feature Walker on screen, and his remaining scenes were completed with the help of his brothers Caleb and Cody.

Coming back to Fast X, it is set to make its world premiere in Rome today, that is May 12.
