Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee to star in new historical drama Youth Monthly Talk

South Korean actors Park Hyung Sik and Jeon So Nee are confirmed to star in the new historical drama Youth Monthly Talk (literal title).

According to the Korean tabloid Soompi, Youth Monthly Talk is about a prince suffering from a mysterious curse and a genius woman who is accused of murdering her family members. Their romance develops through the process of the man saving the woman from her false accusation and the woman saving the man from his curse.

Park Hyung Sik has been roped in to play the ill-tempered and lonely Crown Prince Lee Hwan, who is hiding a deep wound. Meanwhile, Jeon So Nee will star as the genius Min Jae Yi from well off family who chases after the truth after being falsely accused of murdering her family.

“Park Hyung Sik and Jeon Seo Nee’s energy and chemistry will make each of their character’s charms shine as well as their relationship,” the production team shared. “Please show lots of interest in the story of two youth who try to overcome [their issues] in their own way and do not conform to the fate they have been given.”

Youth Monthly Talk will reportedly premiere on February 6, 2023 at 8:50 p.m. KST. The drama will air its episodes on Monday and Tuesday every week.
